Oh my, this was a difficult day to pick favorites. Actually, there are far more favorites than posted here, but I didn’t want to make this post 3 pages long folks! So let’s start…
I’ll forgo the obligatory sunrise pictures, ’cause it just wasn’t up to par. So on to our trip into Lahaina. One of my favorite towns on Maui! It was once the capital of the Hawaiian Kingdom and was also a major whaling village. The little town has so much character. During past Maui visits I try to make an early morning start there and I like to begin with breakfast at Cheeseburger in Paradise. Love this little place and couldn’t wait to take my girls.

Cupcake Girl had fun picking out an oyster that had a pearl inside.
Around town.
This is the guys returning from their fishing expedition. They left our house at 1:00 am and returned at 1:00 pm. My hat is off to them. It wasn’t an easy trip but I do think it was well worth it. Proud of these guys, even the one that had a very unsettled stomach, but stuck it out. Way to go Josh! And the fish was awesome that night! We didn’t have ALL of them, just a few.
On to the swim-fest!
