Let’s continue with a few more favorites. These are from Day 2, which was our first full day on Maui.
I couldn’t wait to go to sleep the night before. I knew what would be waiting in the wee morning hours. A beautiful sunrise! Even the moon wasn’t quite ready to retreat.
A few others slowly joined the early morning beauty, while others were still snoozing.

Rainbow #2. It may have been small and brief, but as usual, it was a joy to see.
After taking my sweet husband to his conference, I snapped these on my way back to the house. Love the “evacuation route” sign. I did wonder if it was for cows only though.

Cupcake Girl called these (left) Girl & Boy and (right) Boy & Girl. No kidding. This is what she said as I was taking the photo. Love these looonnng shadows.
Sunset Day #2.
Later that evening, around 10 pm, a star-gazing event took place and what a great place to see the heavenly stars! There was much discussion, learning and using the iPad. I loved listening to and watching my little group. They were so excited!
While they were star-gazing I found this little gem to photograph, with a little help from the lawn lights.
